We are in full swing at the First Tee of Seattle and I have to say it's been fantastic as always. The kids are amazing to work with and teach, and I would definitely recommend that you get involved with the first tee in your area. This month is going to be busy as I have a few commitments that I'm excited about, that are coming up. The first is next week on the 18th, as you all remember I attended the Make A Wish Gala earlier this year and auctioned off a chance to hang out with me during a practice round at Chambers Bay and although I'm not medically cleared, I will still follow through on my promise and take the auction winner on a tour and maybe have them hit a few balls and enjoy some lunch. I'm still trying to finalize the list of players for my golf event in September and find a course which should not be a problem. I'm also in the process of putting together a golf clinic in September with my good friend Joe Eng who is a great golfer and donate the proceeds to the Seattle Children's Autism Guild. On the health front, I'm doing well and can't wait to get back into the gym next month. I've had a few setbacks but nothing that would worry me to much. As always I thank you for reading my blog and checking out my website. I can't wait to talk to you in August!! Follow me on twitter or like me on facebook under Eli Winfrey. Take care and God Bless.
July is here and so is summer and I hope you all enjoy the great weather. Please be sure to stay cool and use sunscreen. This month is gonna be a busy month for me. Teaching at the First Tee of Seattle has been great and the summer is pretty busy so I have to remember to pace myself. Physical therapy is going well and I hope to be back in the gym getting ready for next year in August. This season has been very difficult for me because I love playing golf, but being involved in other activities keeps me from thinking about it to much. I'm still very active in the autism community and I'm doing things with Make A Wish as well. I'm hoping to finalize players for my Autism tournament in September, so as you can see I'm pretty busy. I want to thank everyone who takes the time to check out my website. I'm humbled as always and very grateful. Much love to the autism community. I love all of you so much. The single moms and dads who work around the clock to take care of there kids,... keep up the amazing work. To the families who are also working around the clock, I love you. Together we will get through this and don't let anyone tell you that you don't belong because you do belong and always will. I hope everyone has very fun and safe fourth of july. Take care, God Bless, and I love you.
