It's been a while since I've written a blog. I'll do my best to get you caught up! Let's start with my golf season. This season has been pretty special to me because it was dedicated to my dad. Winning four times and getting better each time out would have made him proud. I wish I could have played more with him because he really loved the game. I still have tons of room to grow and hopefully when I get healthy I can begin off-season workouts. I suffered a elbow injury during my last event and played the final two rounds in a lot of pain. Right now we are seeing if rest will do the trick. If not then surgery is a real possibility and that would push back or even limit my playing schedule for the 2018 season, so I have my fingers crossed. overall, I hit the ball pretty decent, but I really have to work on everything. Golf is very fickle, one day you got it and the next day it's gone.
My nonprofit organization is doing well. We are in a bit of a transition, as we are looking to replace one of our fabulous directors and also bring on a website manager. We are excited that the holiday season is coming as we look to put smiles on the faces of families while also getting ready for next year. Stay tuned for updates and follow us on Facebook. We will be joining Instagram very soon and I can't wait!
My radio show (The Elijah Winfrey Show) is doing really well! I have all of you and my fabulous co host Toni Boucher to thank for that! We are two episodes away from finishing season one and the show is receiving tons of love. Toni has been an amazing voice and her knowledge about autism is something the listeners really gravitate to. We are on every Saturday at 11pst on blogtalkradio.com.
In closing I want to thank all of you for your support. I encourage you to get out and make someone or something better. Love hard and reach out to help those in need. Praying for those in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, and Las Vegas. We need each other.
