November is winding down and I've been busy as usual. TeamWinfrey is off and running and please check it out. We are all about helping the community. We are taking donations, so please feel free to donate whatever you can. Help us make a difference. Here is our website http://teamwinfreycorp.weebly.com/ I have also begun off season workouts and I have a lot to do, but after only a few days in, I feel good about the direction I'm headed. I have to make a complete swing change and as you know, that can take a long time, but I'm committed to getting better. I practice at Redmond Ridge, and Interbay, with Interbay being the primary spot for me because of the covered range, but Redmond Ridge has the best greens to practice putting and working on short game which is key in golf, so I will do all my short game work there. When I'm not practicing I'm advocating for autism, the homeless, and underprivileged families. I will be attending the Autism Gala on Saturday night and I'm looking forward to that. As Thanksgiving approaches I want to take this time to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. I'm very thankful for my family and friends and all of you who support what I do. I love all of you for always supporting me. Take care and I'll be back in December.
Well November is here and it's going to be a busy month for me as I have a surgical procedure the first week of the month and that will keep me on the shelf for a couple of days. I also finally get cleared to begin off season workouts in preparation for the upcoming 2014 golf season and I'm really looking forward to it!! My non-profit organization TeamWinfrey will be up and running as well and I have been working hard on it. It's all about giving back to the community and helping Autism families, as well as underprivileged families also. We are going to have some great things happen in the coming weeks that we will share with you. I will be attending the Autism Gala event on November 23rd and that will be an amazing event! I just finished the fall season with the First Tee of Seattle and it was great! The young men and women we coach are incredible. I don't like to single anyone out because to me they are all great kids but I have to mention two young men who really stood out to me and they are Jack and Sam Miller. I have to say that they demonstrated every core value that the First Tee represents. Both are role models and to me it's a testament to both their mom and dad on the tremendous job they do at home. As I prepare for the 2014 season I look forward to practicing with them when I can. If there is a First Tee in your area, please get involved. It truly is a wonderful program. As always I want to thank all of you for your support. I will have another blog mid month and remember to make something or someone better! Take care and God Bless.
