I'm sorry I wasn't able to write my blog sooner, but I've been pretty busy with running my non profit, playing golf and coaching golf as well. Not to mention spending quality time with my family. Last month was autism awareness month even though I believe every day is autism awareness month, I hope you all educated yourselves and others about autism. I try to do that everyday. I mentioned on my TeamWinfrey Facebook page that my nephew runs my website and helps with the content. He graduates high school next year and I look forward to being there to watch him walk across the stage to receive his diploma and do what ever I can to help him be successful in the next phase of his life. My niece is also doing well in second grade and it makes me very happy. my season thus far has been tough, because I'm not able to practice like I want because I'm so focused on my non-profit, but hopefully by summer, things will keep progressing and the little things I have been able to work on will finally click. Teaching at the First Tee of Seattle is such a treat. When I tell you that the friendships I've made will last a lifetime, I'm not kidding! I love it!! Next Month I will be in Springfield, MO meeting and talking with families about TeamWinfrey! I'm so excited about it! We are working on some fun things for the summer and will announce them soon. I wish all of you great success in whatever you do and remember, we all start with a blank canvas and we all have the opportunity to create something special and help others. Thank you for supporting my website and thank you for supporting me.
