I hope the year has gotten off to a great start! My year has started well...... at least as far as my nonprofit goes. We have been very busy helping families and inspiring others to make something or someone better! I've been able to visit with Renee & her son Michael, as well as Sarah & Milo, & the Moresi family. Donations that you have given us have been fantastic in giving back and helping others! My fantastic team Directors, Lisa Winfrey & Julie Eigsti are such great leaders. We try to put each other in positions to succeed to be able to serve the community. Our goal has always been to help, teach, inspire, and be the voice of those who need it. We continue to ask you to donate as we expand to help more families. You are one of the driving forces that makes it possible to do what we do and we are very thankful!!
My radio show continues to trend upward and although Toni Boucher and I are a team, Toni is really one of the reasons the show is doing great numbers! Toni brings a different voice to the show and is able to educate the listeners on things I'm still learning and don't have first hand knowledge about. Our guests are second to none and are always ready to share a story about autism, homelessness, & underprivileged youth. Tune in every Saturday at 11 am pst on blogtalkradio.com.
As for my off-season. It's been tedious to say the least. The weather in the pacific northwest has been brutal with all the rain so I'm a bit behind, but I'm hoping this month things will get better and I can get back on track. I prefer hitting off grass because hitting off mats is just not good for my elbow. I have been able to workout and keep my body in shape and my weight is about where I want it. When I began off-season workouts I weighed 216lbs. Right now I'm 205 and feeling good. I'm really looking forward to the season. My goal has always been to build my game for the summer and continue to improve my short game. I'm currently still working on more of a body swing as it's the best for me takes my arms and hands out of the swing and forces me to use my lower body, something I've never really done. I'm close, it's all about trust which takes the most time when you are under pressure in a tournament.
As always, I want to thank you all for checking out my website and supporting what I do on and off the course! I hope you all are super successful this month and remember, it's not about what you have, it's about what are you doing with what you have to inspire, and make things around you better. Take and I'll see ya next month!!
