Well my tour season has wrapped up and what a season it was! I played well in spurts, and my back continued to give me problems, but I managed to play pretty good. 2 wins, 6 top tens, and 2 runner ups is not bad at all. I owe a lot of my success to all the hard work I put in during the off season and playing smart golf. I also owe a lot of it to all of you who have supported me this season. My autism community, I love you and you are one of the reasons I play as hard as I do. To my partners at TeamWinfrey who have helped me build my foundation from the ground up, thank you for supporting me. Now that the season is over, I can focus a lot of my attention on the community and give back. I had the chance to spend some time with Owen who has autism at the driving range and all I have to say is that he is going to be a great leader in this world and he hit the ball really well. His mother Heather Ure is a wonderful woman and I want to thank her allowing me to meet Owen. I also got a chance to play Jack Miller again in our rematch of our match play event, and he played very well. Jack and I will be announcing a big event for the 2015 season, so stay tune for that. As I continue to reach out into the community, please feel free to contact me and let's continue to make the world a better place. We will be holding our very first TeamWinfrey yard sale Saturday august 23 and the money we raised will go to my foundation as we look to improve the lives of kids, and adults with autism, as well as the underprivileged families and the homeless. On September the 22nd, The Elijah Winfrey Open Invitational Championship will be played at Redmond Ridge Golf Course and I'm excited about that. Proceeds will benefit TeamWinfrey as we get ready for the holidays. I will be secret Santa this year and I can't wait!! Thank you as always for your support and I hope to work with you in the very near future.
