I hope all is well as we approach the hot summer months ahead! I've been busy rehabbing my back and teaching golf class at the First Tee of Seattle. My health is well. The physical therapy is going well and right now the plan is for me to get back out on the course by mid June barring any issues, and I'm excited to do that. My goal was to play as much as I could as long as my back and elbow held up and I feel like for the most part, I still gonna be able to play more events and enjoy representing the autism community. I also just finished the spring season teaching at the First Tee and that's always a treat. The kids in the program are great and the friendships I continue to form are life long and I'm very grateful for that. I'm looking forward to the summer at the First Tee here in Seattle as they continue to grow and more kids come out and enjoy the program. My son is growing crazy fast and loves golf and it's neat to see that. Sunday June 8, 2014 My foundation TeamWinfrey is partnering with the Seattle Majestics to host our first golf tournament to raise awareness for autism and support women's sports. These women are awesome football players and event better people off the field and I'm blessed to have partnered with such a wonderful group. Please come out to support us and this great event! As always I want to thank you for supporting me and helping me raise awareness for autism. It really means a lot. I hope you all have a great June and I'll be back in July! Take care and God Bless.
